Meet the Staff

  • Michelle Newland (Executive Producer)

In 2009, Michelle stumbled upon an ad for “The Sound of Music” at the Art Place. After watching the production, her daughter Grace desired to join CFT! In the summer of 2009, Grace took the last available space in the Alpha troupe, and acting and singing became her life passion. Bethany and Daniel joined CFT as soon as they were old enough. Michelle served as a parent leader from 2010-2018, leading the ticket sales team, serving as Green Room Coordinator and most recently as Troupe Mom. Gale Bowen and her team of leaders faithfully led as Executive Producer from 2005-2018. Gale passed the baton to Michelle in the spring of 2018. As the new leader of CFT, Michelle desires for each of us to abide in the Lord’s presence as we dream about the future of our ministry. Though Michelle possesses no theatrical talent herself, she recognizes the value of theater in the life of her family. CFT provides a safe place for her children to grow in their faith and in their gifts. Michelle and her husband, Heston, attend Mount Paran North, where they serve in the children’s ministry together. Michelle also serves as a leader in the Classical Conversations homeschool community and in the local dōTerra community.
